Order
& Placement
Program
Order and Placement, better known as Feng Shui, is not new nevertheless;
it is suddenly in vogue and has become one of the hottest design trends
and conversation topics. It has been practised for thousands of years,
originating in ancient China in the fourth century B.C. This program is
focused on the physical positioning of homes, the work environment, offices,
buildings, as well as the placement of objects within them. The underlying
principle is to live in harmony with your environment so that the energy
surrounding you works for you rather than against you. It affects every
aspect of your life including work and home and the way it is applied
can be either beneficial or detrimental to the way you live. The program
will include a myriad of modules for expansion in specific areas.
Modules
1. Language and Grammar
2. External Environments

Language and Grammar
Feng Shui originated in China over five thousand years ago as a way
of attaining agreement between the environment and human beings. It was
originally used for agriculture, then for orienting dwellings, places
of business and gravesites, for battle strategies, in fortune telling
as a tool for personal development. The success of Feng Shui is guaranteed
with a powerful amalgamation of architecture, interior design, philosophy,
and common sense.

External Environments
Wherever we live, in the city or the country we need to feel comfortable
inside our homes but sometimes the external environment encroaches upon
us. Perhaps the view from the windows is unappealing or the traffic is
noisy. We are attentive of such things but there may be other influences
that affect us psychologically over a period of time. Feng Shui can identify
these influences and forces for us, and can help us take preventative
measures. Your external environment includes the surroundings of your
home or office as well as the full boundary of your vision in all directions.

we can now address the internal layout. Even if the external environment
is less than perfect, you can still maximise the potential of your home

is placed in relation to doors, windows, staircases and toilets.

Offices
Many of us spend a large part of our lives at work and our surroundings
are as important as those in our homes. We usually have little influence
over the buildings we work in, but awareness of problems that can affect
us will enable us to take counter-measures and may promote the formation
of inspiring and encouraging environments.
Feng Shui
can help in the office environment in two ways. It can help to make the
business function efficiently and prosper; to gain an advantage over competitors,
as it is widely used in the East; and to give individuals the edge over
rivals in career development. It can also improve job satisfaction, foster
harmonious working relationships, and provide a stress-free environment
in which personal careers can develop and the company can thrive.
